SAN GIOVANNI

The Church of San Giovanni Battista has existed probably since the XIV century in the same site as nowadays. It has been changed many times until 1961, when the present facade was built. It preserves a painting by Egidio Dall'Oglio and two paintings by Don Sebastiano Valvasori datable in the first years of the XIX century. In the village there are some valuable examples of traditional architecture. At present, San Giovanni represents for Polcenigo the site for building expansion and it is the seat of many factories, mostly metallurgical and furniture ones.
